John Colliety studied paper conservation at Camberwell School of Art in the 1980s. As part of his course he tried various styles of printmaking. He returned to making linocuts 20 years ago and works at St Barnabas Press studios in Cambridge. John is inspired by the nature he sees in rural Essex on his round as a postman and by the linocuts of the mid 20th century.
