Pru Green Pottery Jug -Tall Large Floral Jug

Large Colourful Decorated Floral Jug by Pru Green - Handmade Ceramics
Let me start by saying simply that this is a very special jug!
Earthenware clay hand decorated with coloured slips, in a bold abstract design of colourful patterned flowers and leaves. Layered in a intricate and complex interwoven design on a dark background with a wonderful glaze. This jug is a little taller than Pru's usual large jug and comes with a heavy base, no chance of this tollpling over if you want to use it as a vase. With such a sheen it's really hard to photograph without reflections - but I've done my best.
Size : This wonderful large jug is approx 21.5 cm tall,15.5 cm across the widest point, with a base diameter of 8.5 cm.
Capacity : The capacity is 1.5 litres or 2.5 pints and it pours perfectly.
Each piece is hand thrown with precision and hand decorated with the utmost care, making each piece unique, and this one is a cracker!
As every piece is different we have photographed each piece individually and from all angles as the pattern changes as it wraps around the jug, the work in this is unbelievable ..so much detail
