How to Make a Purchase
You can use our online shop and pay securely through Paypal, you can pay by credit or debit card and do not need a Paypal account to make a purchase. Telephone payment by debit or credit card is also possible. All payments must be made in pounds Sterling. You can purchase or ask to reserve an item by email or phone. We will confirm that the goods are available and make arrangements for payment and collection or delivery.
A few things to mention
Colour - Although we make every effort to ensure the accuracy of images on our website we cannot guarantee that the colours and appearance of artwork will be identical to the original. Feel confident that we are happy for you to return items that do not meet your expectations, if returned to us in the same perfect condition they were sent.
Dimensions given are approximate image sizes. Sizes may be written in inches or cm (or both)
Availability of the artworks displayed on our site is not guaranteed. Should an item be purchased and is unavailable we will inform you as soon as possible and issue an immediate and full refund.
Framing is included in the price where stated.
VAT where applicable is included in all prices. Overseas purchasers are responsible for any local customs, duties and taxes required.
Copyright rights to the image remain with the artist or the estate of the artist. The purchase of an artwork does not confer the right or licence to use the image for commercial or any other purposes.
Risk in the goods passes on collection or on delivery of the goods to the address stated in your order. Title to the goods will pass to you only when full payment has been made for them.
You may collect your purchase or we can arrange delivery to you. Goods will be despatched after payment in full has been received.
We aim to dispatch orders the next working day but please allow 3-4 days for receipt.
If you’re purchasing a gift and need delivery by a specific date please contact us first and we will do our best to help.
For UK addresses, smaller items are shipped by Royal Mail Special Delivery (which will arrive the day after shipping). Larger items are sent by ParcelForce using their 48 hours service.
Odering from ouside the UK
If you would like us to ship overseas or to a destination not listed , please contact us first.
Cancelling your order
If you would like to cancel your order before it has shipped, please contact us so that we can cancel the order on our system before authorizing your payment. If your print(s) have already shipped we will be happy to exchange or refund within 14 working days (see below).
Returns, exchanges and refunds
We are happy for you to return items that do not meet your expectations, if returned to us in perfect condition. Items should be returned to Church Street Gallery, 17 Church Street, Saffron Walden, Essex, CB10 1JW. We would suggest that you use some form of delivery service that requires a signature as we cannot issue refunds for items not received. Once we have received the items (in the condition in which they were sent) we can either offer you an exchange or a full refund of the items value (excluding packing and shipping). We request that you return the items to us within 14 working days of receipt.
You'll have heard all about GDPR. At Church Street Gallery we take the privacy of our customers very seriously.
We do not sell, share or forward your information to anyone. The only people on our mailing list are those who have subscribed via our website, or agreed that they would like to be added to our mailing list when they have visited the Gallery,and we are pleased to share news of exhibitions,our artists and printmakers,new work and events via occasional emails and newsletters.
Our mailing list is stored securely on MailChimp, a marketing automation platform and email marketing service which fully complies with The European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
